Secodary Education (Mathematics) majors acquire fundamental mathematical knowledge and skills to work professionally with computer hardware and software and use modern information technology. Training in this specialty includes basic knowledge of pedagogy, psychology, teaching skills, methods of social and educational work, including the methods used by a supervising teacher, and the methodology of teaching mathematics and informatics. It contains methodological concepts of professional development, and teaching practice in comprehensive schools develops the ability to solve current problems of teaching mathematics and informatics in school and plan, organize and conduct educational work. The graduates of this specialty can work as teachers of mathematics and informatics in secondary schools and specialized secondary schools.
