“Mathematics” majors get fundamental knowledge of classical and modern mathematics that enables them to analyze different methods of solving problems in mathematics and apply them to address new applications.

The following specializations are available: Algebra and Geometry, Differential Equations, Mathematical Analysis. The training includes the study of subjects of psycho-pedagogical cycle. The graduates of this specialty are able to perform professional tasks which involve research and innovation in the fields of modern mathematical science, pedagogy and methodology of secondary and higher education, and carry out research and teach in secondary and higher educational institutions of different levels of accreditation.
