CHERNIVTSI UNIVERSITY MARKS EUROPE DAY

In its struggle to integrate into the European Union, Ukraine started to celebrate Europe Day. Europe Day is a common term for several annual celebrations of unity and peace in Europe held in May. Ukrainians celebrate Europe Day to show that on their way to a large European family they accept and follow the values that are common in the EU.

Scientific Library of Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University organized a series of exhibits devoted to Europe Day – May 19:

• “Ukraine – Europe – World”;
• “Scientific Periodicals. International Journals”.

Students of various faculties and colleges were informed about the process of Ukraine’s integration into the EU, about the collaboration between Ukraine and Austria.
