FRESHMEN INITIATION

On August 31, a solemn Academy on the occasion of the initiation of the first-year students of Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University took place – the university which according to the number of applications submitted in 2017 took the 6th place among the institutions of higher education in Ukraine.

Stepan Melnychuk, Rector of Chernivtsi University, Oleksandr Fischuk, Head of Chernivtsi Regional State Administration, Ivan Muntian, Head of Chernivtsi Regional Council, Oleksandr Paskar, Deputy Mayor, Maksym Burbak, MP of Ukraine officially congratulated the future students.

According to the tradition established at the university, the freshmen laid flowers to the monuments of Taras Shevchenko, Yuriy Fedkovych, Kostiantyn Tomashchuk and Josef Glavka.
