A presentation of the lecture “Is the history of literary language – a history of the language of literature?” was held in the Red Hall of  Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University. The lecturer was Michael Moser, the Laureate of Ivan Franko International Prize of 2017 and Professor of the Institute for Slavic Studies at the University of Vienna.

The meeting of such a high scientific level was held thanks to the preliminary work of three universities – Vienna, Lviv and Chernivtsi – where Franko studied.

Michael Moser impressed the audience not only with the victory in the nomination “For significant achievements in the field of Ukrainian studies” but also its perfect knowledge. As if he lived all his life in Lviv or in Chernivtsi.
