THE INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM AT SUCEAVA UNIVERSITY

A group of scientific library staff took part in the Second National Symposium with the international participation “Contribution of the Library to Promoting Cultural Diversity in the Romanian Space”, held on April 20-21, 2018 at the Suceava University (Romania).

The event was organized in partnership with Suceava School Inspectorate, George Tofan House of the Teaching Staff, the Association of Librarians of Romania. The Association of Italians of Romania, the National College of Stefan cel Mare in Suceava and the National College of Evdokiy Hurmuzachi in Rădăuţi, the National Institution “Bukovyna” and the Sucevita Monastery were the partners.

The delegation of University – Director of the scientific library, Assistant Professor Zushman M., Head of the Department of Rare Books and Manuscripts of the Scientific Library Sichkar – Tsymbaliuk O., Bibliographer – Malanchuk S., Director of publishing house “Nashi knyhy” Moskaliuk V. have introduced colleagues from Romania and Moldova the information and bibliographic capabilities of the scientific library of Chernivtsi National University, and also outlined prospects for further cooperation between the Library of Suceava University, the Library of the Institution “Bukovyna” in Rădăuţi (Romania) and the University Scientific Library in Bălţi (Moldova).
