The “University Has Got Talent” Contest Accomplished

On October 10 the most talented students of our university gathered in the Marble Hall of Chernivtsi National University for the final round of an enchanting show “University’s Got Talent”.

In spring the competitors won their place in the final during qualification rounds at their faculties.

The talents of the 22 finalists were estimated by the honorable jury: the head of the jury — Nadia Vovk, methodologist of Chernivtsi Regional Center “Yunist Bukovyny” (Юність Буковини) in the field of vocal-chorus genre and of educational work with higher education institutions of I – II level of accreditation; Anna Rybarchuk, regional coordinator of National Charitable Fund “From Heart to Heart”, anesthesiologist; Ivan Hatrych, The Honored Art Worker of Ukrainainian Culture, a composer, the director of sound recording studio “Гігант”(Giant), assistant of the Department of Music; Juliana Cebryk, head of the Peoples Amateur Dancing Ensemble “Stozhary”; Hrihoriy Postevka, Laureat of the international and national Ukrainian festivals and contests.

Before the beginning of the contest program all participants were greeted by the students of the Center of Culture and Leisure of Chernivtsy National University. Finalists of the contest «Студент року ЧНУ -2016» (The Chernivtsi National University Student of the Year – 2016) Andriy Pailyk and the winner of the contest “University Has Got Talent 2016” Irina Drabchak performed a romantic song; the Peoples Amateur Orchestra of Modern and Instrumental Music “Барви Карпат” (Colors of the Carpathians) played some Bukovinian melodies; the Peoples Amateur Dancing Ensemble “Stozhary” presented to the audience an ardent dance.

The jury noted the high level of performance and of professionalism of the participants. By the decision of the jury the winners and the laureates will be announced at the all-university contest “The Student of the Year”
